Solidus are able to train on most common packages and provide customised training packages to meet clients needs. Most training is provided on-site using clients equipment but off-site training can also be arranged. The emphasis of our training courses is to provide the knowledge required to complete tasks quickly and efficiently rather than looking at all the features of a package. A growing number of publishers are introducing publishing software in-house. Without adequate training, however, the enormous potential of such systems cannot be used to its full potential. Support
Through our knowledge of the many different packages on the market Solidus are able to provide a bespoke support service to clients. Support packages are tailored for each client and range from regular updates in knowledge through to 24 hour telephone support. In addition Solidus own and operate Graphics and Publishing support forums on the Universal Thread at where you can find files, useful articles and frequently asked questions, as well as forums for exchanging messages with other users. This wealth of experience is now available for the first time through regular scheduled classes in addition to the on-site specialized training programmes developed for individual clients. Three course are offered to meet the needs of every level of expertise. The Corel Ventura Publisher Introduction Course assumes no knowledge and starts from the basic principles and builds the user to a point where they are ready for the advanced course. The Corel Ventura Publisher Advanced Course follows on from the Introduction Course and aims to hone the skills of existing users to enable them to make better use of the advanced facilities found in Corel Ventura Publisher and to maximise the production environment with time saving tips and tricks. The Corel Ventura Publisher MasterClass is run in a seminar environment and assumes a knowledge of using Ventura Publisher and concentrates on the advantages and challenges faced when upgrading to the latest version of Corel Ventura Publisher.
